Tirana:
For Buses and Furgons head in the directions on the Northern Bus station/ train station. From Skanderbeg, with you back to the River Road, head down road Zogu i Pare. Go straight to the end of the road where the train station is. Zogu i Pare ends at the northern bus station and Ts into a street called Reshat Petrela.

1. Bus: 6am. 1pm. 6am departs from the front of Northern Bus station, 1pm departs from station. The trip takes about 3 and 1/2 hours.
2. Furgon: 10am, 2pm. Near Northern bus station/train station. From Skanderbej make a left onto Reshat Petrela (the road with the stations) and walk straight for about a block or two until you see the Bar Columbo on your left. There is a small alley leading to a parking lot there where the furgons wait. The trip takes about 3 and 1/2 hours.

1. Tirana
   Leave at 4:45 am, 5:15 etc. at half hour intervals until 5:45 pm. Leave from the Bus station for Tirane every half hour. They are advertised as 300 Lek, but you might get lucky and pay 200 Lek
   Furgons

1. Vlore
   Leave 8 am until 8 pm. Depart from the main street out of the city center towards the QTU, i.e., towards Vlore. 200 Lek.
2. Gjirokaster and Tepelene, Berat: Furgons and Buses in the direction of these cities pass through Fier about every hour. Catch them from the unaze (intersection) at the end of the road toward Berat/Gjirokaster (across the street from the Catholic Church).
   1. Berat
      Leave 7 am until 5 pm (last run). Depart from the center of the city towards the Catholic Church. They are located in the middle of this long road, as well as at the end of the road, which comes upon a major unaze. Cost 250 Lek.
   2. Gjirokaster and Tepelene
      Cost 700 or 800 Leke depending where you get off while buses cost 600 Leke.
3. Tirane, passing through Lushnje, Cerme/Rrugozhine, Durres.
   From 5 am to about 6 or 6:30. Pass through Fier from Tirana about every hour. Catch at the unaze near the TV Kombi station. About 500 Leke for Tirane and 200 Leke for Lushnje.
4. Korca passsing through Librazhd and Elbasan
   Saturday mornings at 5 am

Tirana

There are several bus stations in Tirana, 1 train station and numerous furgon stations all over the city. Due to the web of private transit ownership catching a furgon or bus out of Tirana can be confusing at best. Additionally, the prices and times might change at anytime. Therefore, this list is only meant to help and to the best of our ability at the time of publish. We apologize for an incorrect information and welcome comments that can amend and update the information.

Secondly, in Tirana furgons going to certain geographical regions (north/ south) leave from similar areas so the information is organized according to geographical regions. In general Furgons will leave from sun up to sun down (there are exceptions) but do not have set departure times. They leave when they are full (capacity ranges from 8-14 people) and it is not unusual to be given a seat on a plastic stool if you are the last one on the furgon.  Therefore, if you want to minimize your waiting time and possible grab a seat, it is advisable to leave in the morning when most people are traveling.

Southern Region Furgons:

1. Vlore:
   Sun up to sun down. 600 Lek, from Rruge Kavajes.
2. Fier:

Northern Region Furgons. Many furgons traveling to the Northern region leave from the Durres Road.

1. Kukes:
   From morning until early evening, 700 Lek, takes approx 2.5 hours. Leave from an area on the Durres Road, past ‘Zogu i Zi’.  Approx 30 min walk from center but once you are on the correct road you can take a city bus for 30 lek or a furgon  for around 50 lek down to the station.

Other Regions

1. Elbasan

   Furgons leave from the big Raifessan bank or glass triangle. 300 Lek.

Kukes

To Kukes

1. Durres:
   Bus – leaves at 7a.m., costs 500 Lek, takes approx 3.5 hours, leaves from bus station.
2. Tirane:
   Furgons – leave until early evening, 700 Lek, takes approx 2.5 hours. Leace from an area on the Durres Road, past ‘Zogu i Zi’.  Approx 30 min walk from center but once you are on the correct road you can take a city bus for 30 lek or a furgon down to the station for around 50 lek.

   Bus – 6p.m., 500 Lek, takes approx 3.5 hours. In front of the UFO University which can be seen from Skenderbeg Square.

Leaving Kukes
Leaving Kukes:  All buses and furgons leave Kukes from the same area that is marked with a small bus station sign. This area is on the main road or ‘Rruga Kryesor’. The exceptions are below.

1. Durres:
   Bus – leaves at 7a.m., 500 Lek, takes approx 3.5 hours
   Furgons – leave until early afternoon, 800 Lek,  takes approx 3 hours
2. Tirane:
   Bus – leaves at 7 and 9a.m., 500 Lek, take approx 3.5 hours
   Furgons – leave until early afternoon, 700 Lek and take approx 3 hours
3. Prizren, Kosovo:
   Furgons – 200 Lek

Exceptions:

1. Peshkopi:
   Furgon leaves daily between 1 and 3 p.m., 1000 Lek, takes approx. 4 hours. You must call and make arrangements for this furgon in advance, in Shqip (Albanian Language)
2. Puke:
   Furgon leaves daily at 1p.m., costs 700 Lek, takes approx 3 hours. Leaves from in front of the ‘Agjencia e Vjeter’ (FYI, This location is difficult to find. You might want to call and get picked up in center of town)

   From 6m to Dusk. In front of Bashkia’s side entrance.

   From the area behind the main boulevard. About 500 Lek

Vlore

Furgons in Vlore leave when full. There are no set time tables, though most leave sun up to sun down.

1. Tirana
   4:30am to 6pm (summer) from the area around the market.
   About 2.5 hours. 600 Lek
2. Fier
   5am on. Leave from the area around the Mosque (Xhamia, Jhamia) continuing all the way down the boulevard. About 1 hour. 200 Lek
3. Saranda
   Leave from Mosque. Time was quoted as between 7- 8:30am.
4. Orikum/ Southern Beaches
   From sun-up ~ 5am in summer. Sky Pizza, on block from the Mosque. 100 Lek
5. Himare
   10am

Buses leave from the station behind the boulevard. They tend to wander down the boulevard very slowly to pick up passengers and it is not uncommon for a bus to leave with 1 or no passengers and be full by the time it exists Vlore.

1. Tirana
   4:30, 5, 6, 7:30, 9:30 am, continuing on about every hour until 4.00 pm. About 500 Lek
2. Durres
   Take the Tirana bus and get off at Durres
3. Korca
   7am.  About 1200 Lek
4. Berat
   6:30 am, 7:00 am, 10am, 11:30am, 2pm
5. Elbasan
   7am and 10:30am.
